Seeing Through God's Eyes

Welcome blue ribbons! You've got mail. With this letter from heaven the angels sent, something more beholden than light itself that will inspire you to more than just set the path that God intended for you to take. To more than just implore others to follow you there. To the place that God has set and planned within the legacy that has always been ingrained within ours and our Father’s history. To be so different from the world that we change it. To be brighter than the stars but cling to the humility our Father in heaven would always set before us. To carry and never waver from the warmth we are meant to give to those around us. Let us stoke in compassion, and mirror the relationship Jesus had with his disciples to our friends, family members, neighbors, strangers and even for some of you; your enemies. To show the utmost respect to people even when it is not reciprocated. There isn’t a weakness in that, most people may even say so. They would be wrong. It’s strength and the blatant honor we hold in how we treat other people. The golden rule will always apply. Even to the one we sometimes struggle with the most, ourselves. There is never a flatline or a part within this world where time would warrant a lessening of human decency. No matter the environment, circumstance, or the hardships so many of us have to drag along with us. Don’t let this world harden your kindness, and more so your eyes. We see and we feel, but we can’t let even the lights of this world blind us into a permanent state of desensitization. We have to carry bleeding hearts no matter how much we pray and beg for our Father in heaven to heal us. We have to remain as mended and wounded as Jesus. As forgiving, if you could so dare, and pave the shades of blue away from sorrow but towards the road to always understanding. More than anything to step into the footprints and the way of peace that Jesus gave to us, we have to be able to leave something even familiar to that behind. So those around us can take something more than just our words with us. To take what God would work through us to give to them. Whether it be in passing, from a simple hello or a full flourishing friendship. We have to carry our weight but also measure the weight that Jesus carried for all of us. We can’t forget who we are in this world, what our purpose is, and more so the son or daughter of the King we belong to. No strike against the clock would ever deter the love God has for his children. That being said, no silent death of the gentleness and tenderness some of us lose should cause another to hurt, agonize, or worse grieve. Until the next letter from heaven falls down, let us turn our faces to the brightest moon that could ever dance within the night’s sky. That of our hearts that keeps the beat of our souls alive.

  Yours Truly,
